Troop 212 is a Scouts BSA troop with a proud history spanning more than 70 years of service, leadership, and adventure in the Lakewood community. Since its founding, Troop 212 has helped shape generations of young leaders through outdoor experiences, community service, advancement, and character development rooted in the values of Scouting. The troop has proudly produced over 180 Eagle Scouts, reflecting a longstanding tradition of dedication, achievement, and leadership excellence.
Troop 212 places a strong emphasis on youth leadership and high-adventure programming, encouraging Scouts to build confidence, responsibility, teamwork, and resilience through hands-on experiences. From camping and backpacking to summer camp, service projects, and leadership opportunities, Scouts are challenged to grow both personally and as leaders within their community. Guided by dedicated adult volunteers and youth leadership, the troop continues to foster a culture of service, friendship, and adventure within Scouting America.
